James Allen & Nerd Culture and How He is NOT Part of It

I was ruminating over the 12 years of rubbish that Mr. Allen has claimed, and the most constant 'theme' of it is how he is an active part of Oklahoma's Nerd Culture, not just some mega-important and 'influential' person in it all. This is so wrong that he cannot more distant from the truth. It doesn't take much to show how he is not, he leaves plenty of room for that. Most importantly, plenty of evidence too.

Here on this handy bullet list are the claims and proof against them (consider this part 1):
  • That he has been actively participating in the convention scene in the state since the 90's in one way or another, and gave 'important' panels on computer game crap. Wrong. He has not been an active member going to these events. How do we know? Because we have been there for all of them collectively and have no memories of him being there, as gamer, panelist or guest at all. There have been many conventions but one way or another, if he was there at any point it would have been confirmed somehow. No evidence supports it. His only appearance at these events was recent (2007) with the return of Soonercon, and then the Halloween themed Trick-Con-Treat, and that only lasted until 2009, with his brief appearance last year in 2012.
  • He has a game club, 'Chess with Guns', that is picky and with strict rules of joining and an elaborate membership process. Really dude? Not only does he ask $250/member, but a background check and a heavy set of rules, and this is BEFORE you are officially accepted! No real gamer would join this stupid elitist joke. Gamers usually have little income to spend on something that they do for FREE at home or somewhere else on any given night. They would rather spend their money on new game materials, movies, etc, than not paying some narcissistic control-freak, heavily in debt to the OKDHS for Child Support for a slight promise of this. He also has the option to take your money and not return it if he finds some reason to reject your application to his club! And you know he will. See Mr. Allen, real gaming clubs don't function that way, not even closely. For the most part, gamers are poor and live rather cheaply and would never join such an affront to the hobby. This is a major scam.
  • He had the 'most popular website for Warhammer 40K online' and supplemental materials that GDW copied from: Hahahaahahaahaha......hahahahaahahaha.....hahahahahahaa. Yeah Jimmy boy, that is a good one! I have seen your 'website' for it and it is awful. How could THAT be deemed as such? It is not professional and no one appears to refer to it anywhere online at the present as a valuable resource to last the test of time. Warhammer 40K is still going strong, why isn't his site? Hmmmmm. I have looked into the GDW publications, journals and other materials since the game's inception in the late 80's for ANYTHING written by a James Allen, James Arnold, or James Arnold Allen and found NOTHING. Why is this? Did GDW discontinue it all? If it were so popular as he claims they would find a way to keep it in print but there is nothing. James Allen, you were not a writer or contributor for GDW or any other game company, confess it and move on.
  • His many years as a leader and influence in Oklahoma in the game & convention scene was sabotaged by others: No, simply, NO ONE LIKES YOU JAMES ALLEN! Gamers are a fickle group. They are able to push out those they dislike quickly and gaining their trust and having integrity in the hobby is a must if you want to be included or accepted. Simply declaring that you, and what you do, are better than the rest isn't going to cut it dude. They will put you to the test by the only way possible - gaming. Whether it is wargaming, cards, computer/video or table-top, they will see if you know your stuff or if you are a bluffer and idiot. It just takes one game to know. Dude, YOU ruined it for yourself. No one wants you to be a part of anything at any convention or event. No one asks you. What is that like? You are non-entity and don't exist. What unique resume do you have to contribute that no one else can to the whole? See....gaming is a SOCIAL thing involving other people and you are not popular with other people in general. What idea do you have that makes you believe that anyone will ever join your scam at home or invite you to theirs? Duh.
  • That you are a creative genius and have a high IQ: As someone who IS, I can see that you are not. If you do not agree, scroll back to ALL of my previous posts revealing the many lies and flaws in your talk and sites. Jimbo, your actions would speak for themselves. Gamer nerds know their own and you are not one of them. It is sad but true. You want to be a part but you are not able to because of your mental illnesses. If you were, your creations and ideas would set the gaming world on fire and attract a lot of attention. The reality is that no one even knows you exist, and if they do, they do not like you and avoid you. I did not see you at any of the Soonercon RPG Days events last spring in OKC. Where were you at on those days? We were gaming and having fun and making new friends. Nowhere was Mr. Allen and his brilliance. I think we can expect more of this in the future too. Yeah, use your limited intelligence to see how you are wrong.
